Short Title: Allows terminally ill patients to take unapproved drugs   [ Show Long Title ]

Long Title: To amend sections 3721.10, 4729.01, 4729.291, 4729.51, 4729.57, 4731.22, 4731.227, 5155.01, 5155.012, and 5155.03 and to enact sections 4729.89, 4731.97, and 4745.04 of the Revised Code to permit a patient with a terminal condition to be treated with a drug, product, or device that is not approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration, to modify the laws governing the appointment of a county home superintendent or administrator, and to permit health care professionals to earn continuing education credit by providing volunteer health care services to indigent and uninsured persons.
