Senate Bill 166
Requires emergency response plans for horizontal wells
To enact sections 1509.39 and 1509.391 of the Revised Code to require the owner of a horizontal well to develop and implement an emergency response plan for the purpose of responding to emergencies at the surface location of the well and to specify what must be included in the plan and to whom and the manner in which it must be submitted.
